In this role, your duties will include maintaining budgets, analyzing materials, and researching vendors. Our ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. To excel in this role, Purchasing Managers need in-depth knowledge of supply chain and budgeting processes. Responsibilities:

Research potential vendors

Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers

Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing

Track orders and ensure timely delivery

Review quality of purchased products

Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases

Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices

Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses

Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed


Qualifications:

Proven work experience as a Materials Manager or similar role

Good knowledge of cost codes, change orders

Hands-on experience with MRP and ERP software preferred

Understanding of supply chain procedures

Solid analytical skills, with the ability to develop and maintain Bill of Materials

Computer savvy with Proficiency of MS Office, particularly Excel

BSc in Logistics, Business Administration or relevant field


Compensation:

$60-70k plus bonus

401k Matching and Health Benefits Contribution

5 days of PTO
