We are seeking a Pre-Construction Coordinator with experience in creating estimates for landscape/pool construction projects individually and together using spreadsheets, take-off software, and smartsheets. 


Responsibilities: 

  • Provide detailed information in the estimate for purchasing, project management, budget items, and material choices
  • Provide change order estimates for all active projects under construction.
  • To facilitate and manage the customer's experience and support the project manager in construction of the project. 
  • Communicate with everyone involved in the project. This could be, but not limited to, general contractors, custom home builders, architects, engineers, family members of the client, and subcontractors. 
  • Build relationships with everyone involved and represent Red Leaf Developments at the highest level.

Qualifications: 

  • 2+ years of experience in construction estimating.
  • Organized 
  • Detailed 
  • Experience building in the Landscape and Swimming Pool industries 
  • Construction background 
  • Know how to use Excel 
  • Know how to use Google Mail, Drive 
  • Know how to use Smartsheets 
  • Know how to use Blue Beam 
  • Understand Gantt Charts 
  • Enjoy working on a computer 
  • Orientation toward teamwork and collaboration. 
  • Time management and personal accountability. 
  • Pride in quality of work.

Physical Requirements: 

  • The ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds 
  • The ability to stoop, crawl, kneel, bend at the neck and waist, twist at the neck and waist 
  • Able to grasp and use fine manipulation 
  • Able to reach above shoulder height 
  • Lift and stand for long periods of time, (up to 10 hours per day) 
  • The ability to work outdoors in extreme heat and cold 
  • Able to walk on uneven ground, in dusty and dirty conditions

Compensation: 

  • $75,000 - $90,000 depending on experience. 
  • 401k and Health Benefits 
  • 5 days of PTO 
  • Job Type: Full-time, year-round employment.
